first year of production, 1930, with smoothbore 6 1/2in. barrel, fixed sights, blued air-chamber marked 'THE WEBLEY JUNIOR .177' and 'PATENTED IN GREAT BRITAIN NO. 219872 AND ALL PRINCIPLE COUNTRIES' also 'MADE IN ENGLAND', the right side with the Birmingham and London address, two pin trigger unit, scarce ribbed walnut grips, the whole re-finished; TOGETHER WITH its manufacturers card carton, orange and blue 'starburst' label to lid (faded) also with gummed retailers label 'THE AJAX CO LTD, ILFORD & ROMFORD', instructions printed to interior, the tray with provision for sample pellets or darts, light scuffing to edges
