circa 1925, with blued 19in. sighted barrel, the left hand side of the barrel release block stamped 'MANUFACTURED BY WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD, BIRMINGHAM & LONDON', the right hand side with 'PATENTS GRANTED' and six international patents with numbers, plain blued air chamber, right hand side of trigger housing also marked 'PATENTS GRANTED' with five international patents with dates, the left hand side marked 'WEBLEY AIR RIFLE MARK 1' together with the 'winged bullet' Webley logo and fitted with a rotating safety catch, the underside of block with trigger adjustment screw, walnut saw-grip pistol-grip half-stock, blued heel-plate (faded), the whole retaining a remarkable amount of original finish
