dated for 1855, with 26 1/2in. barrel, block fore-sight, borderline engraved lock signed 'TOWER' together with the date and a 'V.R.' crown mark to the tail, walnut three-quarter stock, brass furniture, no barrel-bands but mounted with a front stirrup swivel, 'Lovell's' bayonet catch and an iron under-barrel ramrod, fitted with a period leather sling
