Belgian, circa 1860, with 5 3/4in. octagonal barrel, full-length raised sighting-rib, post fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to the top-strap, loosely scroll-engraved cylinder with ratchet locking, engraved two-piece frame, hinged loading gate, spurred central hammer, chequered walnut grips, iron faceted butt-cap with lanyard ring and plunge-ejector, traces of finish throughout
