circa 1850, with 3 3/4in. barrel-group the muzzles with borderline and scroll engraving, London proofs to the moulded ribs, border-engraving to the breech-end, squared boxlock action with radiused corners and central hammer, the body sides and nipple-shield fully scroll engraved except for an oval panel on the left inscribed 'C. FISHER, LONDON', the bar hammer with borderline and scroll engraved sides, sliding safe behind the hammer and safety notch locking device to the hammer (both safes incomplete), finely chequered walnut pistol-grip butt, iron scroll engraved butt-cap with central trapdoor for caps and guarded trigger, slight traces of colour
