circa 1790, measuring 19 1/2in. x 9in. x 3 1/4in. externally and lined and compartmented in green baize for pistols with an overall length of 15in., areas of the lining possibly renewed, the lid with flush-fitting moulded 'D' ring handle and hook and lock closure to the front (no key)
