29 3/4in. nitro reproved bold damascus barrels (no finish), rib engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 98. NEW BOND STREET. LONDON.' and '2', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, action incorporating Thomas Perkes self-cocking patent no. 129 of 12th January 1876, use no. 214, (a T-bar pivoting on the rear barrel lump rises through and behind the standing breech to act as a lifter on the hammers as the barrels are opened), carved percussion fences, broad strikers, topstrap engraved '2' in an oval, non-rebounding back-action locks, border and scroll engraving (some wear overall), 14 3/8in. stock (worn) including horn buttplate, fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release catch, weight 6lb. 13oz.
