A PESH-KABZ DAGGER WITH WATERED BLADE,
probably Indian circa 1850, with finely watered curved 10in. blade possibly of wootz steel, armour-piercing point, hollow ground sided with raised central ridge, broad half back-strap carved at the front, plain yellow-metal mounted hilt of typical form, smooth two-piece side-scales possibly of nephrite separated by a white spacer and suspension loop to pommel; TOGETHER WITH its leather covered wood scabbard with turned brass finial
