A RARE AND UNUSUAL PRIVATE PURCHASE LANCE-HEAD,
circa 1890, of socket form, 10 3/4in. overall with 5 1/2in. tip, the tip forming a leaf-shaped blade with sharpened cutting edge and raised sharpened central spines to both sides, the shank signed 'HILL & SON LONDON' on one side and 'LONDON' on the other, complete with its sewn leather scabbard with lace-up side
