AN 80-BORE PERCUSSION TURN-OVER DOUBLE-BARRELLED POCKET-PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1845, with turn-off 1 3/4in. barrels, engraved bands and false rifling at the muzzles, engraved and bordered breech-end, slab-sided border and scroll engraved boxlock action signed 'KAVANAGH' on the left and 'DUBLIN' on the right, central dolphin hammer, underside nipple-guard, concealed automatic trigger, radiused smooth slab-sided walnut butt and two white-metal clipped-corner rectangular escutcheons, one at wrist, the other at heel
