A 19th CENTURY POLICE HANGER, UNSIGNED,
circa 1840, with broad fullered slightly curved 24in. blade, brass hilt with 'D' shaped knuckle-bow, locking device with button in cross-guard, turned down quillion stamped '47', the pommel-cap stamped 'SC47' and '40'; COMPLETE WITH its black leather scabbard (finish crazed) with brass mounts.
