circa 1880, with round 2 1/2in. barrel, the top-strap with model designation and 'PAT MAY 28 1876', fluted cylinder, solid frame, walnut birdshead grips and sheathed trigger, the whole with extensive 'dot' type engraving forming geometric shapes and patterns, brushed bright finish throughout
