circa 1890, with nickel-plated 3 3/8in. barrel, raised sighting rib with applied crescent fore-sight, lift-up barrel locking catch, fluted cylinder, plated frame with blued ancillaries including side-safe and chequered hard-rubber grips, the whole retaining virtually all its original plated finish
