early 19th century, with wide 21 1/2in. single-edged fullered spear-point blade, iron hilt with pierced guard and quillon-block, short quillons with scrolled finials, hardwood grip-scales each set with three iron rosettes, in original brown leather scabbard with iron locket and chape each with pierced scrollwork (some wear and light staining to blade).
