A .69 FLINTLOCK SERVICE MUSKET SIGNED LUZERN, serial no. 526,
Swiss, early 19th century, with 37 1/2in. octagonal to round barrel (probably slightly shortened, fore-sight removed) marked 'G. LUZERN NO. 526' at the breech, rounded lock, walnut three-quarter stock (cracked at side-nail and on fore-end), dished cheek-rest to butt, iron mounts including three spring-held barrel-bands, sling mounts and iron ramrod (cleaned bright, some scattered pitting).
