A FRENCH HUNTING HANGER, late 18th / early 19th century, with 20 1/4in. single-edged spear-point blade etched with scrollwork on each side at the ricasso (worn, pitted), silver guard with short quillons each with dog's head finials, faceted hardwood grip, in original leather scabbard with cast and chased silver mounts (drag missing)
