circa 1859, with blued 7 1/2in. octagonal barrel, the top-flat signed 'BEALS PATENT SEPT 14 1858' over 'MANUFACTURED BY REMINGTONS ILION NY', solid frame, plain cylinder, brass trigger-guard, smooth two-piece walnut grips with a martial cartouche stamped to the left hand side, minimal traces of finish with some mild shallow pitting
