AN 11mm (FRENCH ORDNANCE) SIX-SHOT DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, SIGNED 'ST ETIENNE', MODEL 'MLE 1874', no visible serial number,
circa 1875, with two-stage 4 3/8in. barrel, stepped fluted cylinder, solid frame with hinged loading gate, field-strippable sideplate, chequered walnut grips with lanyard ring at heel, guarded trigger, the whole refinished.
Other Notes: The lack of serial number indicates that this is possibly one of the rare 'civilian' issues of this revolver
