A SCARCE 48-BORE PERCUSSION FIVE-SHOT SINGLE-ACTION REVOLVER, SIGNED 'WEBLEY'S PATENT, MODEL 'LONGSPUR', serial no. 1037,
circa 1858, with octagonal 6in. barrel, engraved band to muzzle, scroll engraving to breech, plain cylinder, scroll engraved open frame, take-down nut to front of frame, engraved hammer, chequered walnut grips, the back-strap marked 'BY HER MAJESTY'S ROYAL LETTERS PATENT' and polished rammer mounted to left hand side of barrel, the whole refinished
