A CASED 54-BORE PERCUSSION FIVE-SHOT REVOLVER, MODEL 'WEBLEY-BENTLEY WEDGE-FRAME', serial no. 1234,
circa 1855, with blued octagonal 6in. barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, radiused muzzle, scroll engraving to the breech, the border engraved top-strap signed 'ADAMS LONDON' (top-strap cracked), standing notch rear-sight to top of frame, plain blued cylinder with moulded band to the leading edge, borderline and scroll engraved frame, spurless hammer fitted with 'Bentley's safety', chequered walnut grips, guarded double-action only trigger and articulated rammer mounted to the under-side of barrel, a good amount of original finish remaining; COMPLETE WITH its manufacturer's mahogany storage case, compartmented and lined in green baize and containing a number of original accessories including a cleaning rod, nipple-key, powder-flask, oil-bottle, nipple-pot, lubricating and cap-tins together with an unassociated possibly reproduction 54-bore brass bullet-mould
