A .750 FLINTLOCK SINGLE-SHOT MUSKET, MODEL 'INDIA PATTERN BROWN BESS', serial no. AR56,
with slightly shortened 37in. barrel, replacement bead fore-sight, no provision for rear-sight, breech-end stamped 'AR56' solid flared top-tang, military style lock signed 'TOWER' on the tail and with a 'GR' crown device forwards of the hammer (rubbed, cleaned), walnut three-quarter hand-rail stock with brass furniture, the spur of the heel-plate stamped 'AR56', iron stirrup swivels and iron ramrod (some inlet and filled repairs to woodwork)
