A SCARCE 20-BORE FLINTLOCK BRASS-BARRELLED FROG-MOUTHED BLUNDERBUSS PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1780, with triple-staged 5 5/8in. barrel, moulded band at the muzzle and intersection, the top-flat signed in script 'LONDON' and with London proofs at breech along with a makers mark 'R.W.', border and scroll engraved top-tang, borderline engraved radiused lock signed in script 'BLAIR, LONDON' (cleaned), walnut full-stock with floral relief carving around the top-tang, silver wire scroll inlay to the back of wrist, brass furniture including long-spurred butt-cap with central martial trophy boss, engraved trigger-guard bow, pierced and carved side-plate and probable replacement ramrod
