circa 1795, with possibly slightly shortened 8in. octagonal damascus barrel, the top-flat signed in script 'LONDON', bead fore-sight in a silver star background, engraved bead band and standing notch rear-sight to the breech-end, engraved top-tang, flat bevel-edged step-tailed lock signed forwards of the hammer in script 'BLAIR', large roller to the frizzen-spring, walnut full-stock with slab-sided butt, iron furniture including pillar-fronted trigger-guard bow, pineapple finial and ramrod pipes, missing ramrod, stock broken through and repaired through rear side-nail, dents losses and repairs to fore-end tip
