A 7mm PINFIRE SIX-SHOT REVOLVER SIGNED 'SYST. LEFAUCHEAUX', no visible serial number,
circa 1860, with octagonal 4in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'SYST. LEFAUCHEAUX', dove-tailed blade fore-sight, notch rear-sight, solid frame with pull-back loading gate, plain cylinder with ratchet indexing, spurred hammer, chequered walnut grips with moulded iron grip-cap, guarded trigger, the whole cleaned and in the white (action at fault); TOGETHER WITH a period full flap leather holster signed 'ALEX MARTIN, GLASGOW'
