A BRITISH NAVAL OFFICER'S 1827 PATTERN SWORD AND BELT, serial no. 4216,
circa World War One, with etched Wilkinson-style 32in. spear-point blade, solid brass gilded half-basket hilt embossed with a 'GR' crown cypher and fold-down inner guard with scabbard lock, wire-bound black sharkskin grip and gilded pommel and backstrap, original bullion sword-knot; COMPLETE WITH its black leather scabbard with gilded mounts and its black patent leather sword belt with gilt buckle and leather hangers
