dated for 1875, with 33in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight , the barrel stamped below the sight on the left hand side 'N.S.' over 'N.E.P.', plain signed receiver with model details and a 'V.R.' crown device, walnut butt-stock with iron heel-plate (working inlet repair to wood around under-lever well), walnut three-quarter fore-end and iron under-barrel clearing rod
