circa 1855, with re-blued octagonal 4 1/2in. barrels, the top-straps signed 'E.M. REILLY & CO 502 OXFORD ST. LONDON', plain cylinders, borderline engraved frames, finely chequered walnut grips with gold oval escutcheons to the rear, plain butt-caps and guarded triggers, both pistols fitted with articulated rammers to the left hand side of the barrel, Birmingham proofs throughout; TOGETHER WITH a period, probably original to these pistols oak case, compartmented and lined in green baize and including a bag-shaped flask, cap-tin and brass mould
