frame number 914, 26in. nitro barrel engraved 'GEORGE GIBBS CORN STREET BRISTOL', (possibly re-engraved) block-mounted leaf sights with silver-inlaid sight lines, block-mounted bead fore-sight, fine acanthus scroll engraving, the left side marked 'GEORGE GIBBS BRISTOL, bolted side safety (repair to bolt), top tang tapped for a rearsight (removed, not present), 14 1/4in. well-figured pistolgrip stock with engraved steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap) and chequered steel buttplate, weight 6lb. 4oz.
