25 1/2in. nitro replacement barrel (circa 1995) in .300 H&H Magnum, block-mounted open sights and ramp-mounted bead fore-sight with folding protector hood, the receiver (with thumb cutout) mounted with a Swarovski Habicht 6x42 Nova telescopic sight in quickly-detachable mounts, recoil blocks, hinged straddle floorplate with push-button release, engraved 'MADE IN ENGLAND. 4 CARTRIDGES', figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, raised comb, horn finial, sling swivels, colour-hardened steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap), 14 5/8in pull, in its full length canvas case with original labels for the rifle in .244 specification
Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that the rifle is listed in the serial summary book as being a .244 bolt rifle, made in 1962 (the main records appear to duplicate details of rifle No. 3272, a De Luxe magnum rifle in .458 Winchester)
