THE KING.' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and full choke, scroll-back actions incorporating J. Deeley and L.B. Taylor patent hand-detachable locks, patent no. 17731 of 28th July 1897, use numbers 3916 / 7, Westley Richards patent toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', hinged floorplates, best bold acanthus scroll engraving, triggerguards engraved with a brace of pheasant (No.1) and a pointer (No.2), retaining traces of original colour-hardening, 14in. well-figured stocks, weight 6lb. 8oz., in their brass-cornered oak and leather case
