30in. nitro barrels with 7mm ventilated matt top-rib (missing intermediate bead sight, loose at muzzle), 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and full choke, three-piece fore-end, hold-open toplever, manual safety with integral barrel selector switch and gold-inlaid 'O', 'U' and 'S' details, the top tang gold-inlaid with J.R. Braithwaite's signature, the serial number hand scripted underneath, the action and furniture carved in high relief with scrolling foliate motifs on a stippled background, the action signed 'A. DIERCKX' and 'M. CLOSON', bright finish, 14 1/4in. highly-figured semi-pistolgrip stock including 1in. ventilated rubber recoil pad, the right side of the stock inset with a gold oval inscribed 'Presented to J.R. Braithwaite Gold Medal Olympic Trench MEXICO 68' and with the FN trademark, weight 7lb. 14oz., in a Brady canvas case.
