Provenance: Mrs Braithwaite has kindly supplied us with the following information regarding this gun:

"This Marocchi gun was bought by me, as a gift for Bob, over twenty five years ago. He used it, successfully, (which isn't surprising ) many times at Olympic Trench competitions both at home and in France, Switzerland and Germany. It became quite a favourite whilst the Brownings rested! In fact, all three guns accompanied us on those lovely shooting trips. Bob enjoyed competitive shooting until 2001 and, even then, would often be found with a gun in his hands, at Rough Lot in Quernmore, Lancaster, where the whole story began."
