dated for 1917, with tapering 8in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, replacement elevating rear-sight, 'DWM' monogram to the toggle, blued receiver and frame, chequered walnut grips embossed with a '9', correct type magazine with replaced wooden base, much probable original blued finish with straw finish to the ancilliaries
