circa 1850, possibly for Constabulary use, with round smoothbore 6in. barrel, solid top-tang, borderline engraved step-tailed lock with ordnance stamp, walnut full-stock with brass furniture, loose sling-swivel to butt-cap and captive iron stirrup ramrod
