28 1/4in. nitro reproved bold damascus barrel with raised concave file-cut rib, 2 1/2in. chamber, bored approx. 3/4 choke, August L. Larsen and C.E. Winterros patent action, patent no. 26814 of 6th October 1883 (recorded in British Small Arms patents under agent W.R. Lake as no. 5935 of 29th December 1883), with square pattern engraving, rotating plate marked 'LARSEN & WINTERROS PATENT', lever locking mechanism slightly loose, 13 1/2in. pistolgrip stock (repair at toe) with horn pistolgrip-cap and fore-end finial, weight 7lb. 14oz.
