26in. nitro chopperlump barrels with raised finely-matted tapered rib, the tubes engraved 'J. PURDEY & SONS. AUDLEY HOUSE. SOUTH AUDLEY STREET. LONDON. ENGLAND', the short rib on the underside gold-inlaid '2" CASE', 2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and full choke, self-opening action with removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, cocking-indicators, best fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, retaining much original colour-hardening and some finish, 14 1/2in. figured stock, weight 5lb. 8oz.
