circa 1930 and probably retailed by Parker Hale, measuring 17in. x 8in. x 7in. deep, the hinged lid with auxilliary side flaps, the interior fitted with various pockets and a narrow tray to hold eighteen.303 cartridges in the upright position and containing a 'Parker Hale' 'MANUAL ON SERVICE RIFLES' with score-book, a trigger-pull gauge and the stubs of two NRA Competition Range tickets dated 1934
