EDINBURGH.', block-mounted open sights with two folding leaf sights, matted finish with inlaid sight lines and marked for 100, 200 and 300 yards, block-mounted bead fore-sight with flip-up moonsight, original Fraser scope mount base remaining and knox form with later claw mount base, detachable bolstered fore-end with sculpted tip (with repair) and Deeley & Edge patent release catch, receiver with solid side wall and with acanthus scroll and ropework engraving, mounted with a Schmidt & Bender 1 1/2-6x telescopic sight in (later) quickly detachable mounts, barrel release screw, acanthus scroll and ropework engraved floorplate with military style release inscribed 'FITTED WITH FRASER'S PATENT TRIGGER ACTION', the triggerguard engraved with the serial number, the sides of the trigger with acanthus scroll detailing, highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, inset sling eye and with horn pistolgrip-cap and buttplate, 14 1/2in. pull, weight 7lb. 8oz.
