circa 1865, with professionally refinished 5 1/2in. octagonal barrel, plated dove-tailed blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to rear of plain top-strap, borderline engraved blued solid frame marked '22,732' above 'ADAMS PATENT 38529', sliding safe to right hand side, plain blued cylinder with plated wing-nut and cylinder axis pin, plated spurred hammer, trigger and trigger-guard bow, chequered walnut one-piece grip, the right hand side inlet with a Victorian silver six-pence coin, plated screws, butt-cap and hinged rammer, traces of gilt wash to all plated parts, professionally refinished throughout and in fine mechanical condition
