A MAHOGANY ENGLISH MARKET REVOLVER CASE FOR AN ADAMS, TRANTER OR SIMILAR REVOLVER,
circa 1860, with original green baize lined compartmented interior (some loose), key and swing-catch closure (key present, lock at fault), no trade label but containing a bronze Adams Patent 54-bore bullet mould (bruised), a reproduction bag-shaped flask by Dixon, Sheffield and a round oil bottle, the outer lid with brass circular escutcheon, external dimensions 14 5/8in. x 7 7/8in. x 2 3/8in.
