A FINE COMPOSED PAIR OF SAMI KNIVES,
circa 2005, the first with 2 3/4in. clip-point blade marked with Hansen's trademark on the right, stained masur birchwood polished handle bisected with bone bands, engraved bone pommel-cap, complete with and en-suite scabbard with irregular bone window and fitted with a bone-mounted leather hanger to the reverse, the second similar but with a slightly narrower blade of the same length, traditional engraving to the bone pommel-cap and leather covering with suspension loop to the scabbard throat, both in unused condition
Other Notes: The national knife of Finland and part of that country's traditional costume, sami knives are used for cutting just about everything but most importantly for notching the ears of caribou to mark ownership by a given family
