European, circa 1540 and comprising of rearbrace, vambrace and elbow cop with couter-plate, the elbow cop with embossed spiral decoration, the vambrace and couter-plate with rope-twist border decoration, some old repairs and a small number of rivets replaced, painted black internally for preservation
