AN ITALIAN 16TH/17TH CENTURY 'PEAR-STALK' CABASSET HELMET,
of usual form and constructed of one piece, 10 1/2in. at its widest and approximately 8 3/4in. to the stalk, with rolled edge to brim, brass dome-headed lining rivets (all probable replacements), brim pierced at rear for hanging, painted black internally for preservation, some minor fatigue cracking
