circa 1680, the bowl segmented with six raised flutes running from a central raised circle with central loop, applied visor stamped to the underside '+VI', four semi articulated lames to the neck, loose ear-guards pierced with seven holes and attached via leather straps and central sliding nasal bar retained by a wing-nut, the spade-shaped tip of bar stamped '3' over '1', interior painted black for preservation, some renewal to interior leather pieces
