A .41 RIMFIRE OVER-UNDER VEST-PISTOL, MODEL 'DERRINGER', serial no. 497,
being a Type II or Third Model manufactured between 1888 and 1911, with tip-up nickel plated 3in. barrels, the top-rib signed 'REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION, N.Y.', nickel-plated frame with blued ancilliaries, chequered hard rubber birds-head grips and sheath trigger, some small areas of wear and flaking to plating.
