A .25 ACP (6.35mm) SEMI-AUTOMATIC VEST-PISTOL SIGNED WEBLEY & SCOTT, MODEL '1912 HAMMERLESS, serial no. 108187, with 2in. exposed barrel, blued slide and frame, chequered hard-rubber grips, incorrect replacement magazine, together with a later leather holster.
Other Notes: The vendor informs us that this pistol was apparently the personal sidearm of Lord Hartley Shawcross: Hartley William Shawcross, Baron Shawcross GBE PC QC (4 February 1902 – 10 July 2003), known from 1945 to 1959 as Sir Hartley Shawcross, who was a British barrister and politician and the lead British prosecutor at the Nuremberg War Crimes tribunal.
