A 100-BORE FLINTLOCK TURN-OFF CANNON-BARRELLED POCKET-PISTOL WITH SILVER MOUNTS, no visible serial number,
Birmingham hallmarked for 1776, with 1 3/8in. turn-off cannon barrel, scroll engraved squared action with rounded breech, the left hand action side signed 'BARBAR' in a ribbon, central borderline engraved hammer, engraved top-tang (action slightly at fault), walnut bag-shaped butt with silver wire inlay and grotesque mask silver butt-cap also bearing the makers mark of 'Charles Freeth', and possible frozen trigger-guard safety
