London hallmarked (date letter obscured, possibly 1928), of square form with machine engraved rounded sides and back, the base with screw filling plug marked 'DUNHILL UNIQUE LIGHTER', the base itself with hallmarks and 'PATENT 143752', exposed hallmarked strike and igniter mechanism to top, the front face of the lighter body with a full colour depiction of a nude drying herself on a tropical beach; COMPLETE WITH its original manufacturers blue leatherette presentation case with gilt borders, the inside of lid with silk lining signed 'BY APPOINTMENT, ALFRED DUNHILL LTD, LONDON, PARIS, NEW-YORK', the tray lined in blue velvet and snap closure (hinge fragile)
