A .177 UNDER-LEVER AIR-RIFLE, MODEL 'THE BSA AIR RIFLE', serial no. 16281,
for 1908, with 19 1/4in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, elevating rear-sight, tap-loading breech, the plain air-chamber marked 'BSA AIR RIFLE, MADE BY THE BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS COMPANY', one pin trigger unit, walnut straight-hand butt-stock chequered at the wrist, the side of butt stamped with the BSA 'piled arms' trademark, iron butt-plate, trigger adjustment screw to the guard and 'spade' under-lever catch (hinge screw replaced, minimal traces of finish)
