circa 1880, with round 3 3/4in. barrel, flat sighting rib with blade fore-sight, notch rear-sight to top of recoil shield, slide-forwards action operated by large compound linkage under-lever forming the trigger-guard, chequered walnut grips (refreshed), steel butt-cap with provision for lanyard ring (missing) and Belgian proofs, traces of possible original finish
